Event Management Assistant

An entry level position at A2Z is a great way to gain agency experience working on a wide variety of creative and engaging projects; at A2Z you will work closely in the areas of experiential marketing, event production, social media and digital strategy, corporate communications, business development, event design and office administration.

A2Z is looking to hire a high-energy, determined go-getter to begin their commitment in September 2017.

Core Responsibilities:
• Must be available to work weekends and willing to travel
• Plus 15-20 hours a week on-site at our Martinez offices
• Serve as the voice and face of client brand through promotional marketing and advertising campaigns
• Train and execute for each client/brand and product line; be able to effectively answer any questions or inquiries from consumers
• Provide demonstrations, samples and promotional materials to interested consumers
• Have a full understanding of products
• Keep detailed records of consumer demand traffic, common questions, and complications for review to continuously improve customer service as a whole

In-Office Duties:
• Assisting in the daily growth and development of our company
• Assisting with efforts of new business acquisition
• Oversee, & train a team
• Expertly managing the needs of external customers
• Developing strong leadership and interpersonal skills
• Experiential Event Planning and Execution
• Running events, promotions, grass roots and guerrilla marketing
• Demographic Research for residential areas

Skill requirements
• Proficiency in Power Point, Word and Excel (All Microsoft Office)
• Proficiency in Google Drive
• Excellent written English language skills
• Marketing, sales & customer service experience
• Experience in both primary & secondary research functions
• Interest and passion for coordinating events
• Ability to work well both independently and in a team environment
• Strong organizational skills
• Detail oriented
• Must have a valid CA drivers license, clean driving record
• Must have a car

Marketing Supervisor

A2Z Media group is a full service multi–cultural advertising agency looking for a Marketing Supervisor to be part of our team. You must be highly organized, creative, juggle multiple tasks at once, work independently with minimal guidance and are not afraid to wear many hats in an effort to learn the business inside out then this may be a job for you.

This position requires ruthless attention to detail.

Responsibilities:
– Successfully navigate and interact with a variety of different departments including finance, account management, creative and production.
– Organize and support creative projects
– Ability to build project management time-lines, budgets and negotiate with third party vendors
– Exceptional oral and written communication, copywriting and proofreading skills in both English and Spanish
– Updating marketing and presentation materials
– Work with marketing and finance team leads to improve reporting processes continuously
– Review invoices and payment back-up and process vendor/affiliate invoices
– Special projects from the CEO of the company

Experience and Skills
– Strong background in purchase orders, insertion orders, and processing payments a plus
– Organized, resourceful, and flexible with work priorities
– Intelligent problem solver with a strong attention to detail and follow-through
– Fluency in English and Spanish a huge plus
– Minimum two years similar work experience, preferably at an advertising agency
– Required software: MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
– Preferred software: Adobe Photoshop, Indesign or equivalent
– Bachelors degree preferred
