ABOUT FRAMELINE
Frameline’s mission is to change the world through the power of queer film. As a media arts non-profit, Frameline’s programs connect filmmakers and audiences in San Francisco and around the globe. Frameline’s integrated programs provide critical funding for emerging LGBTQ filmmakers, reach hundreds of thousands with a collection of more than 250 films distributed nationally, and create an international stage for the world’s best queer media through the San Francisco International LGBTQ Film Festival and additional screenings and events.

NATURE OF THE POSITION
Frameline seeks an enthusiastic intern to support our outreach and marketing efforts leading up to and during Frameline42: The San Francisco International LGBTQ Film Festival, June 14- 24, 2018. Responsibilities may include graphic design, copy writing, and content creation for Frameline’s digital communications channels such as social media and website updates. Additional responsibilities may be added based on time, organizational needs, and the intern’s unique skills and interests.

Reports to: Director of Marketing & Strategic Partnerships, Communications Manager
Commitment: Three-month minimum commitment (late March/early April through the Festival in June), preferably two days per week, minimum 10 hours per week.
Compensation: Unpaid internship
Benefits: Travel reimbursement available

Students can arrange to receive academic credit for their internship and should see their advisors or department chairs for procedures and requirements.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

NATURE OF THE POSITION
The Programming Intern will assist the Programming & Hospitality Manager who provides direct support to the Director of Exhibition & Programming in all regards to film entries, film reviews, correspondence relating to film entries, and programming of the Festival.

Commitment: January 29 – April 27 (flexible start/end dates)
(Usually 2 days per week/approximately 10 hours/week)

Procure and organize film images for any archive records missing one
Review film metadata in conjunction with the database developer to confirm that all film entries are created according to archiving conventions
Prepare playlists of films by subject/theme for curation on the JFI website
Establish and present organizational methods to better manage ongoing additions to the archive

POSITION SUMMARY
The Development & Membership Intern supports the Development Department through research into relevant grant opportunities, writing introductory letters of inquiry, working with our database for appeals and events invitations, listings and outreach. The intern will also help the Development Manager coordinate data and logistics for fundraising activities including direct mail campaigns, special events and donor communications.
This is an ideal internship for a Film Production student, a student in Jewish Studies, Cinema Studies, or Cultural Studies, or a student interested in learning more about non-profit management. JFI will accommodate work and study schedules so there are assignments that can be fulfilled both offsite and in the JFI offices.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES (depending on interest, ability and scheduling)
Development Database and Donor Tracking:
Help Development remain current with processing and acknowledging all gifts, including checks and credit card charges, gifts of stock, in-kind contributions and matching gifts.
Maintain and update the database.
Help identify new funding sources through grants research, written correspondence with Foundations and potential sponsors; writing letters of inquiry and outreach calls for support as needed.
Membership Coordination:
Work with Development Department to manage and track donor benefits fulfillment; respond in a timely fashion to member inquiries via telephone, e-mail, and written correspondence.
Work with Festival box office company to fulfill member benefits.
Festival and Special Events:
Help coordinate lists from Development Department for special events.
Assist with the planning and coordination of special events, including invitations, guest lists, on-site logistics related to event registration and specific Festival benefits management as needed.
Other duties as required.

QUALIFICATIONS
Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Detail oriented and accurate.
Have the ability to work independently.
Multi-task and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Handle confidential information with discretion.
Work effectively with staff, volunteers, donors and the public.

Intern duties include:
High-energy talk shows on KGO 810 need talented go-getters to assist with:
Show preparation such as finding and booking guests, pulling relevant audio clips and music
Social media – including shooting or marketing hosts across many platforms
Screening calls – answer phones and decide whether caller is relevant to topic – put in cue and prep to be on air
We will likely put interns on an every-other-day rotation: Monday, Wednesday and every other Friday plus Tuesday, Thursday and every other Friday.
For the right participants, we’ll work with their schedule(s).
For Chip Franklin/PM drive, hours are approximately 2:30 – 7:30pm. At two days per week, that’s 90 hours in 9 weeks. With every other Friday added, we’re close to 120 hours.

Intern qualifications/requirements include:
Some knowledge of audio editing (we are happy to train the right person)
Knowledge of Google drive and Social media
Solid writing
Great energy

Beyond that, just be prepared to have fun, move fast, take orders and perform!

This internship will offer the following teaching/learning outcomes:
Students gain access to the hallowed halls of Cumulus Media where many interns end up with paid gigs and get to work with top talent. Chip is a veteran of radio who’s spent time in a variety of formats – as well as comedy.
Students see, and participate in, the inner-workings of live radio where everything changes on a dime. You should find your writing editing skills improve over the course of the semester and learn to make good choices.
The station, along with KNBR, The Ticket, The Bone and KFOG, is located at 750 Battery; cross is Broadway. It is convenient to public transit and parking is not difficult though might be quite expensive.

POSITION SUMMARY :
Responsible for developing the Sales and Marketing activities within assigned markets. Provide leadership towards the achievement of maximum profitability and growth in line with company budget, vision, and values. Establishes plans and strategies to expand the customer base in conjunction with marketing activities. Contributes to the development of training and educational programs for clients and prospects.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
Manage select accounts/relationships in target industries and geographies.
Generate new and expand existing business opportunities with key clients.
Create proposals, procure contracts (MSA’s and PO’s), and lead efforts in pricing negotiations.
Communicate key issues, market information, and area sales strategies.
Work closely with Top management and music supervisor on sales opportunities.
Develop and coordinate responses to RFPs, RFIs, and bid proposals for key accounts and, as needed, support this need for other accounts.
Provide Clients with the highest level of customer satisfaction.
Microsoft Office and Google Doc as primary system that will be used for documenting and tracking all business development activities.
Must be able to conduct presentations, formulate bids and proposals, and provide accurate sales forecasting.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Educational: preferred Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or other related discipline
Work Experience: At least 1 experience in sales and/or Business Development
Computer Skills: Strong in MS Office,
Other : Music production software and knowledge in commercial composition is a serious plus
A strong incentive is planned.

Business Office Intern
Entercom San Francisco, is currently accepting applications for a part-time accounting intern to assist our Business Office. The working hours can be flexible to fit the candidate’s school schedule, but sixteen hours per week would be the minimum commitment. The Internship lasts one semester (Fall, Winter/Spring, Summer).

The student will assist our Business Office with various duties, with primary emphasis on Accounts Receivable. We will make an effort to expose the intern to other areas, including Sarbanes-Oxley compliance, best practices, and separation of duties.

Position requires the following:

TEMPORARY PART-TIME PROGRAMMING INTERN
Entercom San Francisco offers an opportunity for students to apply classroom theory to practical experience. Our internship program allows students to experience firsthand the reality of working in the radio broadcasting industry. Interns can test their creative talent, exercise their analytical skills and increase their understanding of broadcasting operations and trends. Internships are available year-round, and are 12-15 hours per week, with specific days and times agreed upon in advance. All interns must be enrolled in a College or University and receiving college credit. Students are expected to obtain and complete any forms necessary to receive credit for the internship experience. Entercom San Francisco will assist students with the completion of such forms and provide information concerning duties and responsibilities. Internships are current available within our programming department. All internships are unpaid.

Internship requirements:
– Must be available at least 1 day from Monday-Friday.
– Must have a GPA of C or above.
– Must be dependable
– Must have upbeat, friendly, and outgoing personality
– Must be at least 18 years of age
– Must be a currently enrolled college student and receiving college credit.
