SPORTS RADIO PROGRAM DIRECTOR:
Entercom San Francisco is looking for a dynamic, self-motivated SPORTS OBSESSED individual with a minimum of 5 years large market experience in radio program management and a demonstrated track record for success.

Ideal candidate must be able to harness the power of terrestrial and digital platforms and should focus on advancing our efforts to collaborate on sports initiatives that create the two R’s- RATINGS AND RENEVUE. Candidates must be able to develop strategic programming and marketing plans, conduct, analyze, and implement market research, and work closely with sales and promotion to increase ratings and revenue. Proven leadership skills with a successful track record recruiting and coaching on-air talent, and ability to manage high profile talent are mandatory.

Program Director is responsible for:
• Direct and monitor stations programming and activities in conformance with FCC rules and regulations, company policy and applicable federal, state and local laws.
• Daily operations of the station including managing the staff– both full time and part time– and creating and maintaining a weekly program schedule.
• Must have a solid understanding of Nielsen Audio PPM ratings and research.
• Recruiting, training and scheduling board operators, producers, and interns
• Coordinating programming content from all networks and sports partnerships
• Liaison with other station departments, including sales, engineering, and promotions.
• Planning and executing all live remote broadcasts.
• Working with the digital media staff to produce multi-media content experiences.
• Reports to VP of Programming and Market Manager.

Required Experience
• 5+ years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Knowledge of all FCC rules and regulations.
• Ability to be flexible and work under short deadlines.
• Ability to perform as On-Air Announcer.

ACCOUNTS RECEIVABLE/CREDIT
Entercom San Francisco is currently accepting applications for a fulltime accounting assistant. The primary role for this position is managing accounts receivable, collecting outstanding accounts, performing credit investigations on new customers, preparing weekly and monthly billing, posting cash receipts, and resolving discrepancies with the customer and internal sales representative. This position interacts closely with local sellers regarding cash in advance and special payment issues. Other responsibilities include maintaining an accurate and clean customer aging, preparing certain management reports related to sales and receivables, and other duties that may be assigned by management.

In addition to specific job duties, the person in this roll will proactively and continuously look for ways to help the Controller improve the productivity and efficiency of this department.

Position requires the following:
– Two to five years of experience in accounts receivable.

Writing articles (either assigned or pitched by self)
Covering games/practices
Covering station events
Video editing, green screen, chroma key, motion graphics a necessity.

Skills:
Must be proficient in Photoshop, After Effects, Illustrator, Premiere, Final Cut Pro, Word, Excel, PowerPoint. Working knowledge of Google Analytics, Facebook insights, Sprinklr, Second Street, a plus.

Position Summary

PART-TIME RADIO PROMOTION ASSISTANTS
Entercom San Francisco (96.5 KOIT, 95.7 The GAME, 98.5 KFOX, 102.9 KBLX and 102.1 Q102) is currently accepting applications for a number of paid promotion assistants. We are looking for the best of the best! All promotion assistants will be available during one semester (Fall, Winter/Spring, Summer). This is a part-time, 15-20 hours per week position and must be flexible.

Candidates will assist the Marketing and Promotion staff with promotions, public relations and special events throughout the Bay Area. Part-time promotion assistant’s duties also include some office and clerical work, as well as participation in contest and event coordination. Each promotion assistant will receive a broad experience in radio promotions and opportunities are available to learn about other departments as well. Each job opening averages approximately 15-20 hours per week and includes days, nights, weekends and holidays, and may be used for college credit.
Position requires the following:

– Must have a valid California Driver’s license and a clean driving record and willing to
drive company cars around the Bay Area.

Position Summary

– Minimum 10 years broadcast engineering experience, at least 5 years as DOE or Chief Engineer;

– 5 years minimum experience Operation as broadcast or recording studio, audio
production mixer, engineer or technician.
– Possess experience with Wide Orbit system a plus. Ability to voice commercial
copy, and produce finished commercial product for airing.
– Demonstrate ability to direct announcing talent in the performance of commercial
and other announcements.
– Experience with digital audio streaming systems.
